Maine Pyar Kiya Actress Bhagyashree is SHOCKED to know the allegations surrounding Alok Nath
It seems that Tanushree Dutta’s accusations against Nana Patekar have opened the Pandora’s box from which more and more women are coming out with complaints of Sexual harassment by Bollywood stars. Recently, the producer and writer of 90’s show Tara, Vinta Nanda, accused show’s senior actor, Alok Nath of rape and sexual harassment. Post her allegations, the entire Bollywood and nation is left stunned.
Vinta Nanda’s complaint broke the image of the Sanskari Lead actor and a lot of people from the industry came in her support. Now, Alok Nath’s co-star from Maine Pyar Kiya, Bhagyashree expressed herself over the allegations against him. In an interview, Bhagyashree revealed that the accusations against him left her shocked. She mentioned, “ I am very shocked and never thought he was like this. I made my debut in that movie and he played my father's role. I feel for Vinta Nanda.”

She even went on to add, “Good women are coming ahead and speaking about it but at the same time, one needs to know what harassment is.” She tried to extend support to Vinta Nanda at the same time highlighted the need for people to know the difference between flirting and sexual harassment. She also mentioned that she had not been in touch with Alok Nath for over 15 years but the allegations have left her shocked. At the same time, she acknowledged the possibility that change in circumstances might bring a change in men. Amidst all this, the Me Too movement is continuing to gain momentum as more and more women are coming out against Bollywood actors.
