Work together for Rajaiah's victory in Station Ghanpur, TRS cadre told
Warangal: TRS senior leader and Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari has called on his followers as well as followers of the TRS nominee from Station Ghanpur constituency to iron out differences and work hand in glove for the victory of T Rajaiah in the ensuing election.
He made it clear that neither he nor his daughter were keen on contesting the election, and announced his complete support to party candidate Rajaiah.
Following the directions from IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao, a meeting with members of both the groups, and other of TRS party leaders from Station Ghanpur was held at Hotel Haritha Kakatiya in Hanamkonda on Thursday.
Addressing the meeting, Srihari advised Rajaiah to ensure that his followers do not look down upon the members of the other group.
“I would like to make a suggestion to Rajaiah that his followers should not make comments belittling the other group members as it would be detrimental to the party interest. And those who love and respect me and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao must strive for the victory of Rajaiah,” he said, and urged the party workers to see that the opponents lose their deposits in the election.
Earlier, addressing the meeting, Rajaiah urged the party workers to ensure victory for the TRS in the Station Ghanpur and see that the TRS retains power.
TRS Incharge of the erstwhile Warangal district G Balamallu said that coordination committees at the constituency and mandal levels are being formed and they would be in action till the coming local body elections.
He also urged the party workers to work together for the victory of Rajaiah. MPs Banda Prakash, Pasunuri Daykar, GHMC mayor Bonthu Rammohan and Adama Krishna Reddy attended the meeting.
