While launching a new campaign to point out pothole in roads across the state, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) Vice-President Jayant Chaudhary on Thursday claimed that he wanted to help the Yogi Adityanath government by pointing at ground reality.

Addressing the media here, Mr Chaudhary said despite the claims of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya about pothole-free roads in the state, the commoners were facing problems to deal with small and huge potholes across the state.

''We have urged people to share their pictures with potholes on social media, to alert the state government about the reality,'' he added.

Speaking about the grand alliance, the RLD Vice-President said the dreams of BJP to regain power will be shattered in front of the prominent grand alliance. He said it would be early to say about the decision of BSP and SP to not make any alliance with Congress in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan Assembly elections.

About the division of state into four parts, Mr Chaudhary said the RLD has demanded a separate Harit Pradesh from western UP, for a long time. It will improve the law and order situation also and the development of state will be ensured, he added.
