5 Things From NickYanka Wedding That Moved Us to Tears
“Saw her interview with Nick? The chemistry is fake.”
“This wedding is a huge sham.”
“She sold her wedding photos to a magazine? It’s so business like…”
...it didn’t take long for the cynics to do a 180 when People.com magazine dropped the first inside visuals from Nick and Priyanka’s wedding in Jodhpur.
So what is it about this wedding that moved us to tears?
Priyanka’s Reeeaaally Long Wedding Gown Trail
If you thought Priyanka Chopra had maxed out on her obsession with long trials in MET GALA 2017, the gown that she wore for her Christian wedding in Jodhpur will put that to shame.
If you scroll up and give the video another watch, you'd notice that it needed multiple people to just hold the trail of her gown.
If you’re holding back your tears at this point, we won’t judge you. Promise.
Priyanka’s Mother Walking her Down the Aisle
In Christian weddings, mostly the father of the bride walks her through the aisle to the altar where her man awaits her. Taking a break from this tradition, Priyanka Chopra made a grand entrance arm-in-arm with her mother Madhu Chopra, setting a cool new precedence.
The Ralph Lauren Connection
Word has it that Nick and Priyanka started flirting over social media, and finally met at the Oscars after party, according to an interview to Vogue. But they were not dating yet.
Things only started to get serious after they made an appearance together in Met GALA 2017. And guess who they were wearing Ralph Lauren. Yep, that (in)famous ‘trench coat.
So, it was only apt that the designer made something with a really long trail for Priyanka to wear as her wedding gown.

Nick’s Father Officiating Their Wedding
The family involvement was balanced out on the groom’s side as well, with Nick Jonas’ father, Paul Kevin Jonas, officiating their Christian wedding.
The Jo-Brothers to Groomsmen
If you are a 90s kid, you have probably grown up with the Jonas brothers. With their pre-pubescent voices, funky hairdos and ‘emo’tional love songs, they were the quintessential boy band of the mid 2000s.
Fans did have a heartbreak when they disbanded in 2013.
They may not be professionally ‘banded together’ but the love and support the brothers have for each other is pretty obvious through their social media accounts.
It was nostalgic to see the boys together and having fun at the wedding and even exchanging an emotional moment. Their journey from boy band to best men at Nick Jonas’s wedding truly made us teary.
