Shikhar Dhawan posts an inspirational message, looks all set for the ODI series against Australia
After being overlooked from the Test squad for the 2018-19 Border-Gavaskar Trophy that India won 2-1, Shikhar Dhawan is back to the Indian side for three-match One-day International series against Australia, which will commence from January 12 at Syndey Cricket Ground (SCG).
The 33 years old shared a video on Twitter from the practice session along with some inspirational words ahead of the Australian challenge. Dhawan captioned the video on Twitter, "Every time I step on the field, I strive to do better than the last one. Cricket is a game of skills and I will always work hard on improving myself. Bring it on!"

The aggressive Indian opener played 19 ODIs in 2018 scoring 897 runs at an average close to 50 with three centuries and two fifties. His strike-rate was in excess of 100. The southpaw might have failed in overseas Tests but he has been phenomenal when it comes to limited-overs cricket. He is a major part of India's big three in batting in white-ball cricket.
India will again bank upon him to get the team off to a flier in Australia ODIs. The Indian team is yet to win a bilateral ODI series Down Under. They will look to script history in Australia.
