Shane Warne has this to say about MS Dhoni critics and Rishabh Pant in World Cup team
Former Australia spin maestro Shane Warne slammed the critics of Indian wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni. Shane said, “anyone criticising Dhoni has absolutely no idea what they are talking about.” MS Dhoni is still half the captain of team India, everyone including the current captain Virat Kohli goes to him for important advice on and off the field.
Dhoni’s experience has helped India make the right use of Digital Review System (DRS) on quite a few occasions. His decisions has helped so much that the DRS is also known as Dhoni Review System among his fans.
Warne said, “Anyone criticising MS Dhoni has absolutely no idea what they are talking about.” Warne also made it very clear that India needs Dhoni's experience and leadership skills in the World Cup.
The Australian, however, expressed contradictory views on the exclusion of Rishabh Pant, saying he still thinks that there is room for Pant.
The ICC Cricket World Cup will be held in England and Wales this year starting from May 30. Host England and team India are going as everyone’s favorite into the 50-over tournament.
But before that, India and Australia will play their fifth and final ODI match in Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium today. The five-match ODI series is levelled at 2-2 after Australia pulled off a record chase of 358 runs in the fourth ODI in Mohali.
