JK Rithesh Passes Away at 46, RJ Balaji Shares Fond Memories of the LKG Actor

J.K. Rithesh was known not just for his works in films but he was also a member of the political party, AIADMK. The actor-politician passed away on Saturday (April 13) after suffering from cardiac arrest. The actor was 46 and complained of chest pain while he was campaigning in his hometown constituency of Ramanathapuram. His death left many industry members shocked and one among them was RJ Balaji, with whom the veteran actor was last seen in the political satire, LKG. RJ Balaji paid his condolence on Twitter. He wrote, “I will miss you sir. You treated me like your own brother. Not got even a rupee to act in LKG. So much love, care and warmth. You were a great human being. God is so cruel to take you away from your beautiful family with three children. Feel terrible.” It was almost after a decade that J.K. Jithesh had returned to films. Venkat Prabhu, Priya Anand, RK Suresh are the other few celebrities who took to social media to express their condolences. In another tweet RJ Balaji wrote, “Shocked and devastated hearing the news about the loss of JK Rithesh sir. Not able to believe. He was just 46. Gone too soon. He was like a brother to me and blessing to the lives of many. He helped and changed so many lives. No words to describe the pain.” J.K. Rithesh is survived by his wife and three children. He has done four films - Kaanal Neer, Nayagan, Pen Singam and LKG. He made his acting debut in 2007.
