Rain Forest Challenge 2017 to be held in Goa from July 22-30
The Force Gurkha Rain Forest Challenge (RFC) India 2017 has been organised in Goa from July 22-30. Cougar Motorsports have received 40 entries for this year's season, the registration for which has now been closed.
This is the fourth edition of the Force Gurkha RFC. It is expected to be even better than the previous iterations. The organiser has recorded the highest number of entries this year for an RFC India season ever. The 40 entries include 8 teams from Hyderabad, 7 from Kerala, 7 from Karnataka, 4 from Mumbai, 3 teams each from Goa, Chandigarh and Delhi, 2 each from Pune and Tamil Nadu and a single entry from Yamunanagar. Winners of RFC India 2017 will earn a fully sponsored entry into the RFC 2017 Grand Final which will be held in Malaysia by the end of this year.
Cougar Motorsports brought this international event to the Indian soil in 2014 for the first time. RFC is considered to be one of the toughest and most challenging off-road competitions. RFC India 2017 is expected to get tougher with more participants. Though the details of the changes in the event's format have not been shared yet, we can expect these to be announced soon. Apart from the change in the series of events, we can also expect some changes to be made to the off-road course to make the event more interesting.
