A video of a political rally went viral on social media after a Congress leader mixed up Priyanka Chopra’s name with that of Priyanka Gandhi and raised slogans for the actress.

Priyanka Chopra is one of the actresses in the industry who always manages to be in the limelight be it for her professional life, her PDA with husband Nick Jonas or a random social media post. But this time the dive grabbed the headlines for an entirely different reason after a Congress leader goofed up with her name during a political rally in the national capital. In fact, a video of this blooper has also gone viral on the social media.

In the faux pas, the former MLA Surender Kumar (Congress) mixed up Priyanka Chopra’s name with that of Priyanka Gandhi. The viral video featured the leader enthusiastically raising slogans “Sonia Gandhi zindabad”. While the crowd also supported him with shouting the slogans, he made a blunder after he was head shouting 'Priyanka Chopra Zindabad" instead of cheering for party leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. However, Kumar soon realized his mistake and apologised for the same. He also corrected himself saying "Priyanka Gandhi Zindabad". The incident caught all the eyes and the video took over the internet by a storm.
