US Elections 2020: Biden and Trump win Indiana's primary election
Democratic Party strongman Joe Biden and Republican Donald Trump won the Indiana presidential election in the United States. Biden's rivals in Indiana had already departed from this race, and so their victory was confirmed from here. Primary elections were held in Indiana on Tuesday. Before this, Biden also won the party's primary election held in Hawaii on Saturday.
Here he defeated Senator Bernie Sanders. Biden received 63 percent and Sanders 37 percent. The worldwide epidemic caused by the novel corona virus forced the date of primary elections to be extended by about a month. Voters from the District of Columbia and nine states voted. Voting states included Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Montana, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and South Dakota.
