5. Matthew Hayden:

Australia’s former cricketer was the strength of the team in the top-order and was a nightmare for bowlers when on the song. In the ICC T20 World Cup 2007 campaign, he was the highest scorer for his team as well as overall. 

The explosive batsman amassed 265 runs in six matches at an average of 88.33 with the economy rate of 181.11. He had struck 10 sixes and 32 fours which makes him the fifth-highest six-hitter during the tournament.

However, his excellent performance could not bring laurels for Australia as India defeated them in the semi-final of the tournament.
