New Delhi: In the wake of the ongoing impasse on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) between India and China in Ladakh, the Indian government on Monday took a historic step and banned 59 apps from China including Tik Tok, UC Browser. Now veteran Congress leader and former Union Minister Kapil Sibal have questioned the Modi government's decision.

Kapil Sibal tweeted "Reclaim our territory While you ban those Chinese apps try and fill our security gaps let not our trust in you collapse Our brave soldiers will force them back to make Chinese redraw their maps". After nearly two months of the ongoing border dispute with China, the Indian government has taken this tough decision. The government has decided to ban China's mobile apps as a big threat to the external and internal security of the country.

Indian apps banned by the Indian government include well-known apps like Tik Tok, Cam scanner, Share It, Halo, Vigo Video, UC Browser, Club Factory, Mi Video Call-Xiaomi, Viva Video, WeChat and UC News. The blocking of these apps means that Indian users will no longer be able to use these applications.
