Krishnam Raju termed the demise of Manikyala Rao as a huge loss

BJP leader and former AP minister Manikyala Rao left the world. After getting positive symptoms of the Coronavirus, the former minister breathed his last today. He was 60 years old when he died. He was hospitalized a month ago due to symptoms of corona and was being treated for a long tenure. He was treated at Vijayawada Hospital for a month and then he died on Saturday. Former Union Minister and Rebel star Krishnam Raju termed the death of former minister Manikyala Rao as a great loss to the Telugu people.

He said, '' The death of former minister Manikyala Rao is a great loss to the Telugu people. Manikyala Rao is a leader who started as a disciplined activist in the party and rose step by step to a higher position. His service to the Bharatiya Janata Party cannot be forgotten. I have a special attachment to him. It was very sad to hear the news of his death. I wish may his soul rest in peace ... I extend my deepest sympathies to their family members .. '' he concluded.

Krishnam Raju was a Tollywood actor who came into politics and preserved a great place as a known minister. He joined Bharatiya Janata Party in the late '90s and was elected to the 12th and 13th Lok Sabha from Kakinada and Narasapur constituencies. He served as a Minister of State for the Ministry of External Affairs in the Third Vajpayee Ministry from 1999 to 2004. On 24 March 2009, he joined Praja Rajyam Party founded by Chiranjeevi.
