Washington: Japan's top tennis player and last year's US Open runner-up Kei Nishikori has withdrawn his name from the Western and Southern Open after being found infected with the Corona virus on Sunday. Giving this information on social media, Nishikori said, "I have some unfortunate news. This morning I was in Florida and I have been found corona infected. '
Nishikori planned to go to New York on Monday for the Western and Southern Open. The tournament was usually played in Cincinnati, but in the wake of the Kovid-19, it has been moved to the venue of the US Open in New York. Both tournaments will be played at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows.
He said, 'I have to be out of the Cincinnati tournament this time. I feel healthy and the symptoms of infection are less but as a precaution I will be in complete isolation for a few days.
