Mumbai to Alibaug Ro-Ro car ferry service is back

Shortly after Mumbai finally launched its first Ro-Ro service to Alibaug in February, the city went into lockdown. Now, the car ferry service is back for those who wish to get away from the city in no time. The Ro-Ro ride can get you from Mumbai to Mandwa near Alibaug in less than 60 minutes as opposed to the 3.5 hours or longer it takes by road.  

Mumbai to Alibaug car ferry schedule 

For now, M2M Ferries has released a 10-day schedule from 20 August to 30 August. The schedule is as follows: 

20 August – Mumbai departure: 9:15am; Mandwa departure: 4pm
21 August – Mumbai departure: 9:45am; Mandwa departure: 4:30pm
22 August – Mumbai departure: 10:30am; Mandwa departure: 4:45pm
23 August – Mumbai departure: 11am; Mandwa departure: 5:30pm
24 August – Mumbai departure: 9:30am; Mandwa departure: 5pm
25 August – Mumbai departure: 9:30am; Mandwa departure: 5pm
26 August – Mumbai departure: 9:30am; Mandwa departure: 5pm
27 August – Mumbai departure: 9:30am; Mandwa departure: 5pm
28 August – Mumbai departure: 9:30am; Mandwa departure: 5pm
29 August – Mumbai departure: 10am; Mandwa departure: 6pm
30 August – Mumbai departure: 10am; Mandwa departure: 6pm

Mumbai to Alibaug car ferry cost 

Small car: Rs800
Medium car: Rs1,000
Large car: Rs1,200
Two-wheeler: Rs200
Bicycle: Rs100
Pets: Rs 300
Passengers: Rs300

The boarding point in Mumbai is Terminal R, Bhaucha Dhaka in Mazgaon. The ferry usually accommodates 500 passengers and 150 vehicles. However, there could be a revision in capacity due to COVID-19. It is advisable to book in advance. Bookings can be made at 08291902662/09920186261.
